Cancellation and Refunds

Students may cancel their enrolment, for any reason, before the end of the second week of term, irrespective of whether they have attended a class. The enrolment fee will be refunded, less a $15.00 administration charge.

Part Completion of a Course

Students who do not substantially complete may attend all classes in the equivalent course in the following term at no extra cost.


The School of Practical Philosophy offers concessions to people who receive an aged pension, a veterans pension, are registered unemployed or full time students. In order to receive the concession students must provide their concession card number or current student number.


Any student enrolled in a course is expected to behave in an appropriate manner and to show respect for fellow students. Any student who disrupts a class will be asked to leave the course.


The School of Practical Philosophy respects your privacy. If you contact us or enrol through this site we will capture and store the information requested. We will only use this information for the purpose of providing you with the information or service requested. We will not sell, share or reveal any of your personal information, unless you have specifically requested that we do so. You will only receive information from us via email that relates directly to your inquiry or course, or where you have specifically requested to be included in bulletins, news letters or other announcements.


Areas of this site that request personal information such credit card details are protected by a Secure Sockets Layer, SSL. This means that the information that is sent to and from the server is encrypted. If someone was to intercept your information they would not be able to interpret it.
