Embodied Philosophy, our next event inspired from the ancient wisdom, is an invitation to explore wisdom through direct experience.

Movement is the language of the body. When movement is met with awareness, philosophy ( philo = love, sophia = wisdom) comes alive, not as an abstract idea, but as something felt and known.

In this session, we will move gently, practice simple awareness exercises, and reflect together on a teaching from Śrī Śāntānanda Sarasvatī, a leading exponent of Advaita philosophy. We will explore what it means to come out of what we are not, and begin to be what we truly are.

We will bring attention to how we move individually, how our awareness shifts as we move through the environment, and how attention changes when we move with others in shared space. These situational awareness practices are a vital part of the exploration. This is an active, experiential session. We will be moving around the park and engaging with other people as part of the practice.

The morning will conclude with a shared vegetarian picnic, offering time to rest, connect, and reflect together.

An invitation to slow down, listen inwardly, and discover philosophy as a living, embodied practice.

Our Ancient Wisdom and Cultural Events bring together a rich tapestry of timeless traditions—from Plato’s dialogues and the soulful writings of Ficino to Sanskrit music, mindful movement, and contemplative painting. Each gathering offers an accessible “taste” of self-discovery through the living expressions of wisdom that have guided seekers for centuries.

These days are not lectures or performances, but shared explorations. Participants are invited to listen, reflect, create, and experience how beauty, philosophy, and culture can awaken a deeper sense of presence and meaning. Whether through a piece of ancient music, a guided movement practice, or a moment of artistic expression, each element becomes a doorway to discovering more about oneself.

Open to all, these events offer a gentle introduction to the art of living thoughtfully—where curiosity, creativity, and inner exploration meet.
